Clinical Details

This is a post bronchoscopy sputum smear of 60-year-old male, smoker who presented with complaints of breathlessness & cough with expectoration. CT scan of the thorax showed a mass in the right middle lobe of the lung and mediastinum, encasing the bronchus. Bronchoscopy revealed a necrotic superficial lesion in the right bronchus intermedius.
