Breast Prosthesis :
Three types of breast prosthesis available.
- Sponge Prosthesis: Can be given immediately post
operatively.
Approximate cost: Rs. 100/-
- Latex Prosthesis: Can be fitted once the wound
is healed. It can be fitted inside the bra or can be worn
by itself. It is washable and is suitable for the Indian
climate.
Approximate cost: Rs.250/-
- Silicon Prosthesis:
Approximate cost: Rs. 6000/-
Artificial Limbs and Braces.
We offer all types of prosthesis and orthosis
and activities of daily living devices specially designed
for cancer patients at cost effective prices.
- Biaxial hip joint prosthesis for hip disarticulation
and hemipelvectomy patient's which facilitates squatting
and cross-legged sitting.
- Dynamic prosthesis for patients who have undergone rotation
plasty surgery.
- Modified Taylor's brace, Lumbosacral brace and cervical
collars, splints like the cockup splint, and foot drop
splints.
- New innovations: The department has conceived and developed
innovative assistive devices for the patients like the
modified abduction splint, modified incentive spirometer
and Shower bib for tracheostomy patients.
