The goal of cancer rehabilitation is to help patients return to the highest level of function and independence possible, while improving the overall quality of life - physically, emotionally, and socially.

The department offers Physical therapy and Occupational therapy services to acute inpatients, acute/chronic outpatients and home services are arranged for palliative care patients.

As pioneers in the feild of Rehabilitation in oncology, the department is fully equiped to meet any challenges it encounters. Rehabilitation services have made substantial progress in the areas of patient's care,training,education and basic research.

Specially designed orthosis and prosthesis are manufactured at cost effective prices at the Research and Rehabilitation center, Dr E. Borges Home Bandra.
