THREE MONTHS CERTIFICATE COURSE IN ENTEROSTOMAL THERAPY
COMMENCING FROM 01.12.2010 [ 18th BATCH ]

The Tata Memorial Centre (Tata Memorial Hospital) is the premier Institution in India engaged in education, research and comprehensive care of cancer patients.

Only Female candidates are invited for three months Certificate Course in Enterostomal Therapy for registered nurses. The course is designed to prepare these nurses as Enterostomal therapists in order to meet the increasing demand of the need for the trained personnel to care for patients with abdominal stomas, Faecal and urinary diversions, incontinence, dermal ulcers, cutaneous fistulaes and selected skin conditions.

The course also allows the nurses to participate in the pre and post operative management of skin care, appliance selection, providing effective psychological support, discharge planning and rehabilitations.

Duration	3 months commencing from 01.12.2010 to 28.02.2011
Qualification	Diploma in Nursing. B.Sc. Nursing with minimum six months experience.M.Sc. Nursing or Certificate in post B.Sc. Nursing.
Experience	Minimum one year Diploma Nursing experience. Six months experience as B.Sc. Nursing.
Age	Below 35 years as on 30.09.2010  (Relaxable in case of sponsored candidates & for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per rules).

Course Fees	Sponsored Candidates           :  Rs.12,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand only) Non-Sponsored Candidates  :  Rs.6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand only) International Candidates       :  Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only)

Out station candidates may be provided hostel accommodation @ Rs.300/- p.m. during training period subject to the availability of accommodation.   Rs.250/- p.m. will be charged towards transportation charges, if provided.  A sum of Rs.1500/- p.m. (approx.) will be charged towards diet charges, for which a sum of Rs.3000/- to be paid as a diet deposit. 

Eligible candidates may send their application in the proforma given below alongwith medical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner and a recent passport size photograph affixed on right hand top corner with attested copies of educational qualifications, age & experience certificates and non refundable Demand Draft / Banker’s cheque of Rs.60/- (Rs.15/- for SC / ST candidates) drawn in favour of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, on or before 30.09.2010 to H.R.D. Officer, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012.  Persons working in the Govt. / Semi Govt. Organisations, Autonomous bodies should send their applications through proper channel.

Late & incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.  No correspondence of any kind will be entertained. 

Tata Memorial Hospital reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and marks.   Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant for selection.  Tata Memorial Hospital also reserves the right to reject any of the application without assigning any reason thereof.
