POST CERTIFICATE DIPLOMA IN ONCOLOGY NURSING

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is please to announce career development opportunities in Oncology Nursing.  Applications are invited from eligible nurses for Post Certificate Diploma in Oncology Nursing (23rd Batch).  This course is of 11 months duration (10 months in class room and one month internship) and is recognised by the Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.  It will commence from June 21, 2010.

NUMBER OF SEATS	50 ( Fifty only )
ELIGIBILITY	Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing with experience of 1 year. Nurses from other countries should be eligible to register or get an equivalency certificate from Indian Nursing Council. Should be proficient in reading, writing and spoken English.
AGE LIMIT	45 yrs.  Relaxable in case of sponsored candidates from Regional Cancer Centres, Government Hospital and Private medical Colleges.  Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
COURSE FEES	Non-Sponsored Indian Candidates: Nil Sponsored Candidates   : Rs.27,500/- ( Rupees Twenty Seven Thousand Five Hundred only ) International Candidates: Rs.55,000/- ( Rupees Fifty Five Thousand only )
SERVICE BOND	Non-Sponsored candidates are required to execute an agreement to serve the Tata Memorial Centre on a consolidated remuneration of Rs.15,000/- p.m. (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for a period of one year after completion of the course.  They are also required to take an Indemnity Bond for an amount equal to the value of the stipend amount paid by TMC.
STIPEND	Non-Sponsored candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.4000/- p.m.  (Rupees Four Thousand only) during the course. Stipend and Bond are not applicable to Sponsored and International Candidates.
ACCOMMODATION	As this is a residential course, all candidates will be provided subsidized hostel accommodation @ Rs.300/- p.m.
DIET	Rs.1200/- (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred only) will be charged for diet. Rs.3000/- will be collected as a diet deposit at the time of joining the course.

Nurses who meet the eligible requirements and are motivated and interested in career development may submit their application using the proforma given below alongwith a medical fitness certificate from a Registered  Medical Practitioner and a recent passport size photograph affixed on right hand top corner with attested copies of educational qualifications, age, experience certificates and non refundable Demand Draft of Rs.60/- (Rs.15/- for SC/ ST candidates) drawn in favour of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, on or before 10.04.2010 to H.R.D.
