The Histology laboratory at ACTREC is a service unit that receives human / animal tissues in fixative from scientists and students of ACTREC, carries out histological processing and provides permanent slides of unstained as well as haematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stained tissue sections.

This small Histology laboratory is manned by two dedicated technicians with considerable expertise in histological processing techniques.
